Ann Kids Educational Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. AKEC prepares children to achieve their American Dreams by embracing unity, celebrating diversity, and supporting ambition. Guided by the power of kindness and rooted in the belief that education is the cornerstone of a happy and prosperous community, AKEC is committed to establishing a better world for our children by letting them be a part of the building process.

Our Philosophy
Making the world a better place starts by engaging with the community and exposing young curious minds to the limitless possibilities of making a difference. We believe all children have the power to bring the change they wish to see, and it is our job as adults to help them discover their own individual strengths and talents to unleash that power.
Our History
AKEC was founded by an immigrant family who wanted to give back after they went from being on welfare to living their American Dream. Initially launched with a goal of introducing kids in struggling communities to nutritious and versatile food, AKEC now runs many impactful programs that promote ambition, kindness, diversity, integrity and unity.
